I’m on the road for the next two weeks.

I’ll be running a workshop on “Multiplying disciples and churches” at the Reachout missions conference, August 13-14.

The location is Katoomba in the beautiful Blue Mountains outside Sydney.

This one slipped under my radar.

I’ve just heard that the 121 Degrees church planting network in Perth, Australia is running a conference next weekend.

Two great speakers: Al Stewart and Tim Scheuer.

I’m back from a glorious week at Point Lonsdale writing from dawn to dusk with Saffie the Wonderdog by my side for my twice daily walks on the beach.

Michelle came down for the weekend and we lit the open fire. Just the three of us. Is this what heaven is like?

I’m off at the end of next week for a trip to the US (Exponential and the Anglican Mission in the Americas), London (a workshop on movements), Sweden (ditto), then home via a five retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand with our workers in Asia and Australia.

Did I mention the three week holiday with Michelle driving around England and Scotland in celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary? Not to forget the return to Amsterdam where we first met on the Ark back in the late 70s.

Not sure how I’ll go with the blog between now and mid June when I’m back. I’ve had a few ideas. But as I used to say to my kids, “No promises!”

Here’s the details of a worksop I’m running in London on May 6, 20011.

You’ll learn just enough to be dangerous.

I can’t show you their faces, or tell you their names. They both work in locations where the gospel is not welcomed by the authorities.

They are a part of a growing worldwide network of practitioner-trainers in Church Planting Movements.

I haven’t met them yet, but they are highly recommended by people I respect in the field.

They’ll be training in Brisbane Australia, July 18-28, 2011.

Then the Middle East in May, Malaysia in October, and India in November 2011.

Great news, Jeff Sundell is going to join me for my sessions at the Exponential conference next month in Orlando.

He’s doing a great job applying church planting movement principles in the US after a decade of doing the stuff in south Asia.

I’ll be in Malmo, Sweden in May just across the water from Copenhagen.
