Darwin was right about man

This year it’s the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species and the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth.

To mark the occasion the Vatican has admitted that Charles Darwin was on the right track when he claimed that man was descended from apes.

Today, the fact that “man” descended from apes is beyond dispute. The evidence is all around us.

In a little known theory, Darwin also claimed that “woman” was descended from the angels. No argument there.

Is it? Well, in terms of behaviour you might be right.
But biologically? The usage of inductors makes the magnetic levitation train a direct descendent of the razor, right?

    Hi Steve,
Just wanting to clarify. Is the comment about evolution being fact a serious comment or are you being somewhat sarcastic? I couldn’t determine either way with the comment on women and angels following and the vatican one prior. One thing of interest though, the Western Australian biology curriculum for high school is removing evolution from human biology. The paucity of evidence and the connection to racism have been exposed.

    Hi Lukas.

Just having fun. Perhaps it would have been clearer if I’d said “men are descended from apes” and “women are descended from angels”
