Great news out of Antioch

I keep hearing great things from some good people about the Antioch movement of churches.

One of them told me, “They do a better job than anyone I know in the west reproducing disciples that are passionate, bold witnesses who can go through the floods and the fires. They go out and start churches wherever they go.”

Jimmy Seibert has just published an account of their first twenty years. I’ll be ordering my copy.

Hi Steve from alexander in cape town. yep we can vouch for these guys. they are willing to go to the toughest places. we have a visiting team from the church who as part of their training are doing 4 weeks outreach here in the toughest community we work in. their goal is to see 3 house churches started in the next month. our guys will take over when they leave then we will disciple and train the new leaders to carry on. the team are here – about 6 couples, a few singles and about 9 children! that is amazingly brave and committed. we cheer them on. from here they will all be going on to longterm placements in m_sl_m nations. passionate. Jesus is so worth it.
