Good writers

Nietzsche

Good writers have two things in common: they prefer to be understood rather than admired; and they do not write for knowing and over-acute readers.

I reckon the same thing can be said about pastor/teachers…
Great preachers have two things in common: they prefer to be understood rather than admired; and they do not preach for knowing and over-accurate listeners.

The goal is not to please the nit pickers, the goal is that the humble of spirit will hear and see life change in their lives as they engage with Jesus and His gospel!

The correct end translation is “over-acute readers.”

Acuity in this sense is used to address narrow mindedness; which is what pastors/teachers/preachers/Jesus/gospel/and religion teach. Free yourself by thinking for yourself: the only true path of life.

    Be good.

Jason, thanks for the heads up. I’ve fixed the typo.

Can’t agree with you that I’m narrow minded. I have found freedom in following Jesus the only true path of life.
