Andy Bennett is a battle hardened church planter. You can read about Andy and Jo here. Andy’s list:

  1. It’s Not Over Until The Barren Woman Sings — Paul Scanlon. Not specifically on planting , but every planter should get his/her head around it.
  2. Conspiracy of Kindness — Steve Sjogren
  3. Doing Church as a Team — Wayne Cordeiro
  4. Purpose Driven Church — Rick Warren, don’t fall into the trap of thinking this book has had it’s day, it is still I believe essential reading for any planter.

This from Duncan Macleod, coach of church planters in Queensland:

  1. The Shaping of Things to Come, Michael Frost and Alan Hirsch
  2. Next Church Now by Craig Kennett Miller, Discipleship Resources, United Methodist Church USA
